March 23-27 - The Inventors' Workshop
The Inventors’ Workshop
Calling all curious thinkers and creative problem-solvers! At The Inventors’ Workshop, campers become engineers and innovators as they explore how ideas turn into real-world inventions.
Throughout the week, campers will design, build, test, and improve their creations while tackling hands-on STEM challenges in a collaborative museum setting. This camp encourages creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking as campers learn that great inventions often come from trying, testing, and trying again.

BC Hydro Electrical Safety Week
We’re inviting teachers and their students to join us and BC Hydro for Electrical Safety Week!
Running from May 11 to 15, Electrical Safety Week is a province-wide initiative to make students aware of electricity hazards and how to practice safe behaviours around electricity. We’ll be covering topics such as how electricity is made and distributed, what to do around downed power lines, and extra safety content around storms and home electronics.
These presentations are a fun way for BC Hydro employees to connect with students in their community and teach important safety tips. With games and demonstrations tailored to different grade levels, we’re confident that students will walk away as new safety ambassadors in their communities!
Note: These programs will be at The Exploration Place and will run exactly like our regular school programs, including time to explore our galleries.
